E.ON CEO Johannes Teyssen: German Nuclear Move Creates Power Risk
16.03.2011 -
Germany's decision to suspend operations at its older nuclear power stations has increased the risk of problems with power supplies, the chief of utility E.ON said on Tuesday.
"With this new unbalance in the system, minor accidents can have major implications," E.ON Chief Executive Johannes Teyssen told reporters in Brussels after a meeting of nuclear experts. "We will try our best to live up to the situation, but the risk of the system has definitely increased," he added.
