The Bio-Process Systems Alliance (BPSA) is pleased to announce it has elected five Executive Board members who will serve in leadership positions through December 31, 2015, to carry out the alliance's goals and move the organization forward.
"Our 2013 board is inclusive of every aspect of single-use: component suppliers, system integrators and end-users. It is the organizational leadership team we envisioned way back in 2005 when BPSA was formed, and it is gratifying to see it come to fruition," said Jerry Martin, who was elected to a three-year term as chairman.

"Every individual on our board is taking a hands-on role in one or more of the activities and technical projects slated for 2013," said Kevin Ott, BPSA's D.C.-based Executive Director. "These include our 3rd Annual International Single-Use Summit, set for July 15-17 in Washington, D.C.; Quality Agreement Template Task Force; End-User Committee activities; Marketing and Education Committees; and the functional roles required in running a mission-driven trade association with an expanding membership base and budget."
The BPSA Board of Directors will convene four times per year, with adjunct technical committees convened on a monthly basis. BPSA currently has 46 corporate members, and is the primary trade association for the single-use industry.
