The Global Personal Care business of AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry is pleased to announce that Puck van Doorn has joined the Surface Chemistry EMEIA group as Marketing Project Manager, Personal Care Applications.

Her responsibilities include providing support to a number of regional and global marketing projects initiated by the Personal Care Applications Marketing Team serving AkzoNobel customers in Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa. Based in Sempach Station, Switzerland, van Doorn reports directly to Hannes ten Doesschate, Business Director, Personal Care, AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry EMEIA.

Van Doorn brings her experience in business plan development, defining and introducing price strategies, and development and implementation of new applications and markets to her new position. Previously, she was a Marketing Manager for AkzoNobel's Industrial Chemicals Business Unit, with additional responsibility for Logistics & Customer Services. Prior to joining AkzoNobel in 2008, she worked in the Netherlands in marketing for L'Oreal and as a Project Manager on the Procter & Gamble account at the marketing communications firm Neroc'VGM B.V.
