UK-based process engineering firm BPE has appointed Robert Bussey as process safety manager. Bussey has 20 years of experience in process safety within the pharmaceutical and chemicals sectors, both in the UK and globally. He joins BPE from pharmaceutical major MSD, where he led on process safety for Merck sites within Europe and across the world. Bussey has also held roles with Synthomer and Chilworth Technology.

At BPE, Bussey will be overseeing process safety for the company’s clients, including HAZOP and ATEX projects and will also be involved in sharing best practice with BPE’s customers.
