“By taking over Anmapi, we significantly expand the European business of our group and moreover acquire a partner that can be regarded as a true asset for us in Bonderite application know-how,” said Frank Haug, chairman of Bodo Möller Chemie. “While we have built up the loyalty to Henkel and other manufacturers in Central and Eastern Europe, Anmapi has taken over this task since it was founded in Portugal in 1999.”

Now operating as Bodo Möller Chemie’s Portuguese subsidiary, Anmapi will also distribute industrial adhesives made by Huntsman and 3M, technical textile and thermoplastic solutions from Porcher Industries, mixing and application solutions from Medmix and pigments from Germany’s Merck, along with Henkel’s Bonderite and Loctite product lines.

Just three days prior to announcing the Anmapi deal, Bodo Möller Chemie acquired Spanish distributor General Adhesivos. The German group said it is now represented on the Iberian Peninsula with offices in Madrid, Alforja (Tarragona) and Porto, as well as three local warehouses in Alforja, Barcelona and Porto.
