ACG Group Creates “Single Identity”

Integrated pharma supplier ACG Group has consolidated its portfolio into four businesses: Capsules; Films & Foils; Engineering; and Inspection The “new dynamic shift” will allow the groupto build on its existing capabilities to create a more integrated customer experience and promote more intuitive solutions, said managing director Karan Singh. - ACG Capsules, which meets a diverse range of capsules requirements, includes group companies Associated Capsules Pvt Ltd (ACPL), ACG Lukaps- Croatia and ACG do Brasil.
- ACG Films & Foils, constituting of ACG Pharmapack and Nova Nordeplast, Brazil, supplies components for pharma packaging solutions.
- ACG Engineering, comprised of ACG Pam, ACG Pampac, ACG Metalcrafts and ACG APT, provides essential knowhow for improving manufacturing performance.
- ACG Inspection helps customers to need to meet inspection and traceability demands.
The Mumbai, India-based group said the four businesses will be able to tap synergies arising from the newly consolidated structure. Along with expanding its manufacturing footprint across the globe, as part of a commitment to innovation, it is also “actively looking” at ways to use Artificial Intelligence, IIoT, Virtual Reality and other digital transformation technologies to provide the best pharma manufacturing solutions.
Peter Neve, ACG’s chief marketing officer, said the new structure gives the group a new way of thinking about its business. The new segments “come together seamlessly” to convey the promise of “absolutel commitment” to offering an integrated solutions platform," he commented.
Over five decades, the ACG Group, which claims to be “the world’s only supplier offering integrated manufacturing solutions for the pharmaceutical industry,” has grown from empty hard capsule manufacturing to encompass equipment production, packaging, inspection, testing, research and development. With 13 companies and five subsidiary offices, it employs more than 4,500 people and is present in more than 100 countries.
