Dr. Claudio Pozzoli has joined Lugano, Switzerland-based chemical and biological API manufacturer Cerbios as Director R&D Chemical Division on October 1st 2015. Dr. Pozzoli has been active in the pharmaceutical industry since 1989 and has great experience in different positions. He holds a degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Milan. After 3 years at Boehringer Ingelheim, as a scientist, and at the Zambon Group as senior scientist, he moved to Norpharma as custom synthesis and cost calculation manager in 1997. For a short period in 2001 he was production manager in Poli Industria Chimica and after this experience he joined Sicor as R&D Director. His career continued in Farmabios where he spent the last 12 years as R&D Director, also covering the position of plant manager between 2003 and 2007. He is also author of several patents in the field of Organic Chemistry.
