With effect from April 1, 2015, German chemical producer Lanxess will merge its group functions Treasury (TR) and Investor Relations (IR) into a new double function called Treasury & Investor Relations (TIR) and headed by Oliver Stratmann, who has led the IR team since 2008.

Lanxess said Christoph Koch, head of Treasury since 2008, will leave the company "at his own request," effective March 31, 2015.

With the appointment of Stratmann, CEO Matthias Zachert said Lanxess will be able to "efficiently merge our financial markets activities and communication under the leadership of a very experienced capital market specialist."
