Marc Schuller of Arkema Follows Ineos' Tom Crotty as new EPCA President

The European Petrochemical Association (EPCA) announced the name of its new president. Concluding the closing lunch session of the EPCA 51st Annual Meeting in Berlin, Tom Crotty, EPCA president and director of the Ineos Group highlighted the end of his term as president of the association and introduced his successor, Marc Schuller, current vice-president of EPCA and executive vice-president of Arkema, beginning his term as EPCA president on October 4, 2017 for a period of 3 years. Born in 1960, Marc Schuller, a French National and graduate of ESSEC - École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales - in Paris is currently in charge of the coating solutions and industrial specialties business segments as well as raw materials/energy purchasing at Arkema.

Tom Crotty has successfully overseen EPCA with great leadership and enthusiasm since 2014, for a second term, his first being from 2010 until 2012. “I am very pleased to take on this new responsibility and to continue the path Tom Crotty has brilliantly laid out as president of EPCA. I would like to build on the last 50 years and in partnership with EPCA’s member companies, we will continue to contribute to build sustainable and inclusive economic growth in the digital age” said Marc Schuller.
